Only 4 weeks until the MAPFHA PFHA Trail Horse Test!!
August 31 - September 1
Join us for an exciting weekend of learning and skill-building at the PFHA Trail Horse Clinic & Evaluation, hosted at Bartels in Rochester, MN! For just $200, you'll get access to both days of the clinic, including evaluations, all PFHA fees, rustic camping, and meals—breakfast and lunch—each day.
Additional amenities like stalls, round pens, and electricity are available for extra fees.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your trail skills, build confidence, and improve communication with your horse. We still have spots available for August 31 - September 1.
Open to all breeds and the public, with auditors welcome! For more details or to register, please contact us at events@MAPFHA.org.
The Objectives of the Trail Horse Test Program
- Highlight the pleasure of a trained and responsive trail horse.
- Set non-competitive goals for the horse in an effort to improve both horse and rider.
- Provide a structured method to judge a trail horse.
- Record the level achieved in the horse’s PFHA registry. This will assist individuals who are researching horses/bloodline that are well suited to the trail.
